The Vision Ralliart Concept embodies Mitsubishi Motors’ vision for the new Ralliart and brings together the company’s engineering and passion for Monozukuri (craftsmanship). This is a concept car that expresses the possibilities of the new Ralliart, with elevated acceleration, cornering and braking in all road and weather conditions. Although it is a concept car, customer feedback on Vision Ralliart Concept will be used in future development of Mitsubishi vehicles.

Ralliart is the high-performance and motorsports division of Mitsubishi Motors. Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart Concept incorporates Ralliart DNA with higher motor output, sportier 4-wheel control tuning and enhanced battery capacity. To match its high driving performance, the Vision Ralliart Concept has a wide stance and is equipped with 22-inch large-diameter wheels and tyres. Large brake discs and opposed-piston 6-pot brake calipers are adopted to provide improved braking performance which matches the powerful torque of the motors.

Styling is given a premium look with impressive presence on the road. The exterior features bold, muscular styling created by the front and rear bumpers with functional beauty, and the large, widened front and rear over fenders. The front grille with a radiator shutter and the large rear diffuser emphasise the sportiness of the model. The matte black body colour shows blue highlights when hit by light, creating a deep, multidimensional expression that enhances the vehicle’s high-quality feel.

It was responsible for development and preparation of the company’s rally racing and off-road racing vehicles, as well as the development of high-performance models and parts available to the public. Ralliart scaled down its business activities in April 2010,though the brand will continue to be used by Mitsubishi. The company established Mitsubishi Motors Motor Sports in Trebur, Germany in November 2002, and then consolidated the previously independent licensees under this umbrella in 2003.
