Novitec has given the Ferrari F8 Spider the N-Largo treatment, with a widebody kit and more power. There will only be 15 examples of this fascinating roadster in the whole world: The NOVITEC N-LARGO is built based on the Ferrari F8 Spider and occupies a unique position among the world’s most exclusive open-top sports cars due not only to its spectacular widebody, but also to its tremendous performance. The Coupe Edition of the NOVITEC N-LARGO, likewise limited to 15 vehicles, sold out completely in just a few days.
The carbon fiber panels have increase the front width by 70mm and the rear by 130mm, with the front wheel arches designed with louvres to reduce air pressure from the wheel wells. The extra width is most noticeable with the doors, as they remain in their original position and the front fenders and rear quarter panels protrude outwards creating gaps where there were originally none. Novitec has further tweaked the ECU tuning, eking out a little more power and torque to new totals of 807 hp and 666 lb-ft.
The new bespoke body work, not only give the F8 a wider more aggressive stance, but also re-profiles the front styling to create a meaner looking Ferrari. The N-LARGO carbon bodywork with its width of 211 centimeters at the rear axle turns the Italian mid-engine sports car into an eye-catcher par excellence. NOVITEC developed particularly wide, tailor-made NOVITEC NF10 NL hi-tech forged rims in cooperation with Vossen specifically for this refit. The staggered combination of 21-inch and 22-inch wheels on the front and rear axle places even greater emphasis on the wedge shape of this powerful sports car.
The NOVITEC version of the eight-cylinder with two turbochargers also lives up to the extravagant looks. With an output of 602 kW / 818 hp, the N-LARGO accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. The sprint to 200 km/h takes a mere 7.7 seconds. With a top speed in excess of 340 km/h, this limited special model is one of the world’s fastest drop-top sports cars.
