The Impreza is Subaru’s long-running small sedan and hatchback, serving for years as the Japanese automaker’s smallest and most affordable model. The Subaru Impreza (Subaru Inpuressa) is a compact car that has been manufactured by Subaru since 1992. Subaru makes the smallest of changes to the Impreza lineup for 2022. Along with the new Sapphire Blue Pearl paint, the top-of-the-line Limited trim is now offered only in the hatchback body style. Subaru has offered both front- and all-wheel drive layouts for the Impreza. Since the late-1990s, some markets have restricted sales to the all-wheel drive model—therefore granting the Impreza a unique selling proposition in the global compact class characterized by front-wheel drive. The 2022 Subaru Impreza is available as a sedan or a four-door hatchback. Features are generally the same for both body styles. The four trims available are the base, Premium, Sport and Limited. For 2022, the Limited trim level is only available in the four-door hatchback body style.
