The Monza circuit it’s the track where Alfa Romeo won the first title in Formula 1 history on September 3rd, 1950, with the Alfetta 158 driven by Nino Farina. An unbreakable bond that ties Alfa Romeo and Monza, reforged once again this year. The creative contribution of the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo is not limited to the car, but also embellishes the racing uniforms of the two Alfa Romeo drivers. To celebrate the Italian Grand Prix, the single seater will take to the track a special Tricolore livery produced specifically for the event by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. The logo celebrates the brand’s 111-year history, its colors revisited in those of the Italian flag.

The showcar will also be the ‘special guest’ at the Museum in Arese during all the week of the racing event. The showcar itself will offer the opportunity to explore ‘behind the scenes’ of Formula 1, through a virtual experience that includes a video contribution from the two drivers. The drivers will also feature in a virtual meeting livestreamed from the garage at Monza, during which they will be chatting with the Museum’s guests.Visitors will experience the emotions of the GP, in a live stream of the qualifiers, practice sessions and of course the race itself, on the big screen of the Giulia Hall.

Alfa Romeo and Sauber Motorsport will continue to join forces, with a reinforced team spirit, at the highest level of motorsport as the Swiss team and the historical Italian brand announce an extension period of their F1 partnership. The extension of this relationship represents a new exciting chapter in the long and prestigious motorsport history for two brands with an impressive racing heritage that includes success in Formula One, sportscars and touring cars, among others.
