AM General Showcasing HUMVEE 4-CT with Expanded Capability Kits at NGAUS 2021

AM General, global military-grade tactical vehicle and mobility systems provider is proud to participate in the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) 2021 General Conference and Exhibition in at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Booth #921, in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 27 through August 30, 2021. The company will display the embodiment of continuous improvement and innovation through a modernized HUMVEE vehicle that the National Guard needs when and where the National Guard is needed the most.

AM General will have on display the HUMVEE 4-CT vehicle with two Expanded Capability Kits (XCK) including the Troop Transport (9) with capacity for up to 9 warfighters. This vehicle represents the latest automotive technology that AM General can offer the National Guard, including enhanced occupant safety, upgraded powertrain options, and improved mobility and handling.

“After missing one year, we are so excited to participate in this year’s NGAUS conference,” said Andy Hove, AM General President and CEO. “We look forward to showcasing how we can support the National Guard with platforms that are ready now and discussing how we are investing in technology to ensure future readiness.”

AM General is an American heavy vehicle and contract automotive manufacturer based in South Bend, Indiana. It is best known for the civilian Hummer and the military Humvee that are assembled in Mishawaka, Indiana. For a relatively brief period, 1974–1979, the company also manufactured transit buses, making more than 5,400. In July 2020, KPS Capital Partners acquired the company.
