The magnificent LP1200 R is a true piece of art, combining innovative design, exquisite elegance and ultimate performance. This car is built to perform!T The body design is developed in-house and produced in prepreg carbon fibre with weight and strength in focus. The distinctive aero is also designed by our own engineers and is part of a system that generates more than 1200 kg. downforce. Brake discs and brake pads are produced in carbon carbon to achieve optimum braking performance.
At 1200 hp, 1200 kg weight and 2142 kg of downforce at 200kph, It has proven to be both ultra-fast and reliable, with over 10,000 km complete on legendary race tracks such as Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburgring, Yas Marina Abu Dhabi and Dubai Autodrome. Additionally, the car also campaigned two full race season in the Norwegian Extreme GT+ Championship, taking the overall Championship title in 2020 and Vice Champions in 2021 with test and development driver Fredrik Soerle at the wheel.
The LP1200 is based on a Lamborghini Super Trofeo LP 640-2. Though some of the DNA from the original Huracán is still is retained, our re-imagined version appears as something completely different and unique. The original Lamborghini engine is modified up to 1200hp and equipped with a truly unique twin turbo system. Inconel manifolds, titanium exhaust system and brand new intake manifolds complements the finely tuned mechanisms. Our own bespoke electronic makes this car faster than any other Lamborghini on the race track.
Zyrus Engineering is a small scale car manufacturer and engineering company located 180km north of Norway’s capital city of Oslo. Through several seasons the company have raced Lamorghini Huracáns in one of Europe’s most extreme race series. This has given us unique expertise in these cars in particular. As Zyrus Engineering saw the potential to further develop Huracáns to perform even better and more uncompromising, they transferred knowledge and experience into building extreme editions of Super Trofeo and Performante. Zyrus’s first car is a prototype based on the popular Super Trofeo chassis.
