Making a sports car like the Ferrari F8 Tributo even faster and more exclusive is the domain of NOVITEC. The German automotive refinement specialist fulfills the wishes of the owners of the Italian two-seater with a complete refinement range. However, the product range includes not only powerful engine tuning and high-performance exhaust systems in various versions. The bodywork is customized with strikingly styled and aerodynamically efficient naked-carbon components.
For example, NOVITEC offers various performance levels for the 3.9-liter eight-cylinder twin-turbo up to a peak output of 590 kW / 802 hp and a peak torque of 898 Nm. As a result, the mid-engine sports car catapults itself to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of more than 340 km/h. The NOVITEC look is completed with custom hi-tech forged wheels up to 22 inches in diameter on the rear axle, developed in cooperation with American premium manufacturer Vossen. The NOVITEC sports springs are calibrated to work with these wheels. Of course, NOVITEC can also tailor the interior of the Ferrari to the vehicle owner’s taste.
The Ferrari F8 Tributo is the new mid-rear-engined sports car that represents the highest expression of the Prancing Horse’s classic two-seater berlinetta. It is a car with unique characteristics and, as its name implies, is an homage to the most powerful V8 in Ferrari history. The F8 Tributo features state-of-the-art aerodynamics, integrating innovations and expertise developed thanks to the company’s involvement in the GT and Challenge championships. The solutions have been honed to create a series-production mid-rear-engined berlinetta with the highest level of performance available.
Novitec, located in Stetten, Bavaria, Germany, is a tuner that specializes in modifications for Italian marques such as Ferrari, Fiat and Alfa Romeo. In 2007 Novitec also spawned Novitec Tridente, an arm of the business dedicated to Maserati tuning. Another division of the company, Spofec, focuses on tuning Rolls Royce vehicles. Novitec modifications are generally focused on performance oriented parts that improve the way Ferraris brake, handle and accelerate. In 2004 Novitec unveiled their first project: a twin-supercharged Ferrari 360 which made 565 hp (421 kW), up significantly from the stock number of 400 hp (298 kW).
